What I wish I knew yesterday
While predictability is safe, it’s far from fun. Far from attractive. Far from what anyone really wants, often without realizing it. Breaking the pattern will keep them patiently waiting longer than ever expected. It will take a lot longer for worry to set in. Especially when there's nothing to worry about.
As if it's true. As if you’re already who you want to be. Just don’t get caught.
And get back in tune with nature. Because technology can lead you down an endless path. Whereas nature focuses you.
Think about what you’re really communicating. Do you want them to think about Freezing, or not Moving? The words you use will determine the effectiveness of your communication.
That song or video you sent me - I likely won’t watch it. That book or article you suggested to me - I likely won’t read it. That idea you expressed to me - I likely won’t act on it. Unless you convince me it’s worth spending disproportionately more time on than anything else.
